Stop by the Library between 1:00pm and 4:00pm for this special book signing event that will feature local and regional self-published authors representing a variety of genres. Read more. Countdown to Kindergarten Our Countdown to Kindergarten workshops offer the chance for parents and caregivers to learn alongside their preschoolers. Each monthly workshop will have an abundance of fun, engaging activities with a focus on reading, language, motor, social, and general knowledge skills. Read more. One Book One Frankfort for Children! We are excited to bring you One Book One Frankfort for Children, a special edition of the program geared towards kids. This year, One Book One Frankfort for Kids will focus on 2nd graders, and all 2nd graders in the city, county, and private schools, along with interested homeschoolers will receive their own copy of The Invisible Boy by Trudy Ludwig. The culmination of the project will be a visit from the author, Trudy Ludwig, on March 20 & 21. Ludwig will speak to groups of 2nd graders about The Invisible Boy, the writing process, and the power of kindness. Read More. A Matter of Balance: A Series for Seniors A Matter of Balance is an award-winning program designed to manage falls and increase activity levels for seniors. This 8-week series emphasizes practical strategies, and participants will learn how to view falls as controllable as well as make changes to reduce fall risks at home. Classes will be held at the Library on Tuesdays, March 28-May 16, from 5:30pm-7:30pm. There is no cost to attend, but please register. |
