Teresa Resch, the former Raptors exec, landed her new gig as president of Toronto’s new WNBA franchise at the perfect time. Now, the team just needs a killer name. Here, she tells us about her time working for Masai Ujiri, her love of sports and how she’s preparing for the WNBA’s inaugural season.

Designer Kaelen Haworth launched her Queen West boutique, Absolutely Fabrics, in the fall of 2023. The shop showcases edited collections of daring looks, mostly from sought-after smaller brands that are hard to find in Canada. “I want to be that place of discovery,” she says. Here’s what she’s currently loving in home decor.

Toronto’s celebration of Pan-Asian flavours turns 15 this year. Designed to emulate the night-time street markets of Asia, the ticketed event runs for three nights (two of them 19-plus) at Exhibition Place.
