The 2018 BEEF magazine Seedstock 100 list is now available on beefmagazine.com and in the January issue of BEEF magazine. New this year is information on the Seedstock 100 members that sell replacement females and an interactive map where you can find operations in your area. This new feature allows you to quickly see where the bulk of the largest seedstock operations in the country are located.
The Seedstock 100 list was developed as a tool for cattlemen to use to identify operations that provide genetics to the cattle business. Each operation’s listing in the BEEF Seedstock 100 has a significant amount of information associated with it, including breed of cattle, how they sell and when the bulls are available. Contact information is available for all the Seedstock 100 operations on beefmagazine.com.

BEEF magazine also offers the Seedstock Directory. This is a list of elite seedstock suppliers from across the country that don't quite make the 2018 Seedstock 100 cutoff. These operations represent many breeds and are located throughout the country, giving you a list of genetics suppliers close to you. You’ll find that they are eager to work with you on your seedstock needs.

For years, seedstock operators have been a vital part of the cattle industry. Just like traditional cow-calf producers, stockers and feeders, seedstock operators fill a vital role in our dynamic industry. BEEF magazine is pleased to highlight this important segment of the beef business.
