He has more than 10 years of leadership experience at high-growth nonprofits. He has worked as a corporate strategist and his cause-marketing expertise has advanced organizations including The Trevor Project, where he increased annual revenue by 800 percent in five years. At DoSomething.org, he tripled revenue by attracting more than a dozen new funding partners. He serves a board member at Rainbow Railroad, a global organization working to rescue LGBTQ+ people.

Lauren Steiner started Grants Plus 16 years ago to help nonprofits attract grants to fulfill their missions and change the world. Today, Grants Plus is a team of 30 fundraising professionals who have secured more than $300 million in public and private grants for nonprofits nationwide. Steiner leads a graduate-level course in philanthropy at the Mandel School of Applied Social Science at Case Western Reserve University and serves on the board of The Giving Institute and Giving USA Foundation, where she co-chairs the editorial review board. Steiner also hosts the Great Grant Seeking Podcast.
