Join us this Thursday, February 29 at 2 PM ET for the webinar Seeking Support for General Operations: What to Know to learn from a grant-seeking expert and a program officer how to demonstrate organizational strength and sustainability — to secure unrestricted support for your mission.
They’ll share key elements of a successful proposal, ways to speak the language of grant makers, and tools to help you make a strong case for investment. Plus, they’ll share real-word examples of success and how to respond when you don’t receive a grant.
You'll learn from these experts:
Sherry Quam Taylor works with nonprofit CEOs to help them attract larger amounts of general-operating revenue to make their strategic plans a reality and their organizations sustainable. She helps leaders see their revenue potential as well as what may be preventing donors from investing in their organizations.
Shireen Zaman is a program officer on the Ford Foundation’s BUILD team, working to advance the foundation’s efforts to support and develop stronger, sustainable, and more effective social-justice organizations and networks across the globe. Shireen has more than two decades of experience at foundations and nonprofits, where she has led organizational transformation, resource development, and program management.
This session will include live captioning and ASL interpretation. To request other accommodations, please email copevents@philanthropy.com or call 202-466-1032.
