Karla Kalis oversees individual giving at PAN Foundation, a nonprofit that helps underinsured people with serious illnesses pay the out-of-pocket costs of their treatments. She leads PAN’s digital and direct-mail fundraising campaigns as well as its donor acquisition, cultivation, and stewardship efforts. Kalis focuses on a variety of giving options including peer-to-peer fundraising, employer-matched giving, bequests, and stock investments.

Humane Society of the United States

Steve Maughan provides the strategic vision for the planned giving programs at the Humane Society of the United States and the Humane Society International. Previously, he led the national legacy giving program at Oxfam America and was the northern New England planned gifts director at the American Cancer Society.
