A new pageant queen has arrived.
 

Ndavi Nokeri's first day as Miss South Africa 2022 consisted of a whirlwind of interviews and photoshoots.
 

The 23-year-old was also handed the keys to the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Sedan, which she will drive during her reign.
 

Nokeri, from Tzaneen in Limpopo, was crowned Miss South Africa 2022 at a glittering pageant finale on Saturday night. 
 

In her first Instagram post as Miss South Africa, Nokeri wrote: "South Africa, I am at a loss for words. Thank you for showering me with all your love and for warmly embracing me. I look forward to representing you with honour and pride."
 

She concluded her message: "To a year of impact. Ndza Khensa, Thank you."
 

The newly crowned queen, who also won the People's Choice award, will represent South Africa at the world's three most prestigious pageants – Miss World, Miss Universe and Miss Supranational.
