Family support was essential to Savana Paciulli’s success at Holyoke Community College. Her mother, stepfather, and grandmother all took turns watching her son.

Then the pandemic hit. “I don’t even know how I survived that,” Paciulli recalls.

Now, she advocates for resources for student-parents and disabled students at HCC and Smith College.
