Good morning. It's not every day you get to talk to a Hollywood star in your own home. But like I learnt in 2020, never say never.

Meeting Hilary Swank in my living room

Had you told me in February that later in the year I'd be sitting in my own living room speaking to the two-time Oscar winner, I'd surely not have believed you. But I've grown somewhat accustomed to the fact that 2020 is beyond anything my mind will ever fully be able to comprehend – mostly, I'm sure, an instinctive move to protect myself from the reality of our current state.
 

She is dressed casually in a cosy yellow sweater, her hair effortlessly resting on her one shoulder. At the bottom of the screen, a cat's ears peek out. It's probably resting on her lap as we speak. Behind her is a painting of two faces merging into one that adds another warm hint of colour.
 

There's a welcoming tone to her voice. She's friendly and inviting when we start to talk about her impressive new project that feels more like a cinematic feature film than a television series.
