Meetings of the IOC Coordination Commission and IOC Executive Board in PyeongChang – Information for the media

The 8th Meeting of the IOC Coordination Commission will take place in PyeongChang from 13 to 15 March. It will be followed by the meeting of the IOC Executive Board (EB) on 16 and 17 March 2017.

Media representatives wishing to cover the meetings are requested to confirm their attendance via the IOC website (please see below).

Media accreditation:
Accreditations are processed online. Media representatives wishing to cover the meetings are requested to register by Tuesday 7 March on the IOC website.

If you have already registered for previous meetings, please access your profile using your email address and tick the box for the March 2017 IOC Coordination Commission and Executive Board meeting.

Venue:
Alpensia Convention Centre
Daekwallyeong-Pyeongchang-gun, 225-3 Yongsan-ri, Daegwalnyeong-myeon, Gangwon-do, South Korea

Media facilities:
A Media Working Room will be set up at the Alpensia Convention Centre and equipped with Wi-Fi starting on 15 March.

Accommodation:
Media representatives are requested to make their own arrangements. We suggest  booking in the Alpensia Intercontinental or Holiday Inn Hotels within the Alpensia Resort. As there will be test events during the meetings we suggest you book as soon as possible.

Transport:
Media representatives are requested to make their own arrangements from Incheon Airport.

IOC President’s press conference: teleconference call  
Media representatives who will not be in PyeongChang will have the possibility of listening LIVE to the IOC President’s press conference on Friday 17 March.

Please pre-register here to receive a dedicated dial-in number, a passcode and a personal pin for quicker and easier access to the conference. Please be aware that the usual passcode cannot be used for this conference.
