Wildwood Green Golf Club will host our Annual Member-Guest Tournament on June 6th, 7th, & 8th. Now referred to as the “War in the Woods”, this tournament saw a massive reconstruction in 2022 that brought raving reviews along with it again in 2024! This is an incredibly popular event that is limited to a certain number of participants (120 players for 2025). Registration will open at 6:30 AM on April 13th; anyone attempting to signup before that time will kindly be declined. At 6:30 AM on April 13th, you can sign up by emailing teetimes@wildwoodgreen.com. WE WILL USE A LOTTERY SYSTEM FOR THIS YEAR'S ENTRIES. This year we will incorporate a weighted lottery and unweighted lottery. 70% will be drawn from the weighted lottery and 30% form an unweighted lottery. The weighted lottery will be based on participation in Wildwood Green Events since last year's Member-Guest. For more details on how the point system for the weighted lottery system will be awarded please refer to our events booklet on the Wildwood Green website. The deadline to sign up is Friday, April 18th at 5:00pm. We will announce the participant listing on the evening of April 20th. The basic schedule will be listed below for those trying to bring out of town guest, schedule and details are subject to change.
Starting right now, Members or their guest can sponsor the event for $1,220 which includes a guaranteed entry spot in the event. These sponsorships are limited so reach out now to take advantage and guarantee your spot in this years War in the Woods. Email drew@wildwoodgreen.com if you are at all interested in taking advantage! Sponsorship includes hole signage, cart signage, and info booklet advertisements for the sponsoring party.
Entry Fee: $720 per team
Format: Round Robin Match Play (Net) - 12 Month Low Handicaps will be used
3 Matches on Saturday & 2 Matches on Sunday.
Friday: (Included but Optional)
18-Hole Practice Round Shotgun at 1:00 PM: Calcutta & Introductory Dinner Friday Evening.
Saturday: (All Day)
Breakfast, 1st 9 Hole Round, Lunch, 2nd 9 Hole Round, 3rd 9 Hole Round, Putting Contest, Evening Dinner (Spouses Welcome), chipping contest , Music, and games.
Sunday: (Morning-5:oo PM)
Breakfast, 4th 9-Hole Round, 5th 9-Hole Round, Lunch, Flight Winner’s Sudden Death Playoff, Closing Remarks
