Today is the 104th anniversary of the birth of Frank Sinatra. I’d met the man but never knew him, although when I lived in L.A. I knew several who knew him well (and love to tell about it). The late afternoon clouds rolling by inspired a photo and reminded me of a song by Joni Mitchell which ultimately reminded me that today is the birth anniversary of “Ole Blue Eyes,” “the Chairman of the Board,” Frank Sinatra, and what I knew of him from those who knew him well.
