Microsoft Unveils Its Mesh Mixed Reality Platform Redmond's latest effort in AR/VR is Microsoft Mesh, a cloud-based platform that lets people join shared holographic experiences. Basically, you put on a VR headset, they put on a headset or pull out their tablet, and you all join a digital space together. We swear it's cooler than we're making it sound. 2. Samsung's MicroLED TV Will Ship in a 76-Inch Version Samsung previously revealed a lineup of MicroLED TVs ranging from 88-inches to 110-inches, but if that was (understandably) too big for your home, its now making 76-inch versions. The fun-size models don't have a date or price yet, but at least none of us have to get a bigger home just for a TV. Yet. 3. PlayStation Store Will No Longer Sell Movies and TV Shows Now that streaming is a thing, Sony will no longer offer movie/TV purchases and rentals through its PlayStation Store after August 31. It previously made it impossible to make such purchases through the PlayStation app, so this change was probably inevitable.
