MH17 shoot-down Russian army unit identified

The surface-to-air missile that shot down Malaysia Airlines flight MH17, a Boeing 777, belonged to the Russian armed forces,  the Dutch-led Joint Investigation Team (JIT) said May 24.

Delta to relaunch nonstop US-Mumbai flights in 2019

Delta Air Lines plans to resume nonstop flights between the US and Mumbai in 2019, the Atlanta-based carrier said May 24, citing the recent Open Skies agreements between the US and governments of UAE and Qatar as “the framework … to move forward with service to India, a market long impacted by government-subsidized Middle East airlines.”
