Microsoft has been accused of using a huge network of tax havens and subsidiaries to minimise the quantum of tax it pays in Australia, a report from a tax transparency group claims.
The share of new electric vehicles sold in Australia increased to 3.39% in September compared to 2.05% the previous year, a report from the Electric Vehicle Council says. Wireless communication equipment distributor Streakwave and fixed wireless access technology company Tarana have partnered to leverage Tarana’s G1 platform for wireless internet service providers, managed service providers, and other multi-point wireless network operators in Australia. Digital adoption platform provider Whatfix has appointed Raj Sundarason to the role of APJ leader, Sameer Mishra to the role of vice president and head of sales for India and Southeast Asia, and Manojkumar Narayanakurup to the role of vice president and global head for services partnerships and alliances. Australian cloud technology specialist Versent has appointed Gavin Wilkie to the role chief financial officer, and Gabriele Famous has joined its board as a non-executive director.
