Malicious attackers are using the names of well-known firms like Xero and Tax Store Australia to try and trick Australians into installing a variant of the Ursnif banking trojan on their Windows computers.

US sanctions imposed on Russia in August 2017 have hit Microsoft sales. The sanctions are preventing at least two distributors of Microsoft products in that country from transacting with more than 200 Russian firms on the terms they used to.
