Hi John, Mobile phones worth $8.08 billion are sitting unused in Australian homes with owners missing out on cashing in by selling their old phones and putting the cash towards a new replacement mobile, according to online retailer eBay.
Microsoft appears to have given up on Windows as a mobile operating system, announcing at a launch in New York on Wednesday that in 2020 it would release a dual-screen phone which runs Android. The number of people who have commercial sypware, also known as stalkerware, on their mobile phones has increased markedly in the first eight months of the year, rising to 518,223 cases, an increase of 373% over the corresponding period in 2018. The Australian National University has released a report about the attack on its network which was announced in June 2019, providing a detailed timeline but no attribution for the hack or a possible reason as to why it was undertaken.
