Mike Pence in Oregon

Mike Pence was in Oregon last weekend, Voornaam.

He spoke at a local Republican fundraiser on Saturday night, and it's just the latest sign that national Republicans have their sights set on Oregon to try and chip away at Democrats' razor-thin majorities in the U.S. House and Senate.

It's going to take all of us working together to do everything we can to stop them and elect Democrats up and down the ballot next year.

Pence's appearance comes after Kevin McCarthy, the Republican House Minority Leader, endorsed Alek Skarlatos in his second run against Rep. Peter DeFazio in Oregon's 4th Congressional District.

Meanwhile, a slew of Trump-loving Republicans are already throwing their hats into the ring for statewide races in Oregon – candidates who look at governors in Florida and South Dakota and want to bring that kind of failed leadership to Oregon.

We can't let that happen. With so many important elections on the ballot next year in Oregon, can we count on you to chip in today?
