Mike Pence has not officially announced whether or not he is running for president in 2024, but he certainly has been busy.
The former vice president, who has always proudly displayed his faith, has been traveling around the U.S., speaking to churches and business groups about his own story and everything he thinks is wrong with President Joe Biden's administration. His next stop is in Salt Lake City, where he'll meet with prominent community leaders on Friday.
Pence has made his views clear on the Biden administration's policies and on the enduring lessons from the 2022 midterms, where Republicans underperformed expectations.
“Candidates that were focused on the future did well,” Pence told the Deseret News when speaking on the results of the 2022 midterms. “Candidates that were focused on the past or relitigating the past did not fare as well."
“I think the failed policies of the Biden administration at home and abroad, and the radical left wing policies of the Democratic Party today, are going to be a great unifying factor for the standard-bearer of the Republican Party," he said.
