MILITARIA DEPARTMENT
A Second World War Japanese Good Luck flag (寄せ書き日の丸, yosegaki hinomaru)
of cotton construction, fully signed, 70cm high, 90cm wide
Provenance: Acquired by Hon. Lt-Col H.A Loe.

Specialist Caroline Dennard is looking to consign for her next auction of militaria.  Halls Fine Art's Militaria department is a popular and thriving one. Covering a range objects from the 18th century onwards, the department has achieved consistently high prices since its inception. The interest of collectors in this field is ever growing, further buoyed by the marked rise of interest in wartime history, and by natural extension, the items associated with this time period.

Because of the popularity of this genre, Caroline is excited to announce the first timed miliaria auction starting Friday 9th July.

Caroline is looking to consign medals and medallions, cap badges, buttons, pictures, firearms and accessories including power flasks, photograph albums and ephemera, helmets and uniforms, edged weapons including swords, daggers and bayonets, antique firearms including pistols, long guns, crossbows and other archery weapons.

Get in touch before Monday 5th July if you wish to auction your items in this sale.
