Dear reader Military medical personnel will be deployed to help with the rollout of coronavirus vaccines in Northern Ireland as the programme of immunisation intensifies. A UK government spokesperson confirmed that a request from the Department of Health has been approved. It is expected that 100 army medics are to be deployed to the Province to assist with the accelerated vaccine roll-out. The news was confirmed by Secretary of State Brandon Lewis and Defence Secretary Ben Wallace as the Department of Health said that one more person had died with Covid-19 in Northern Ireland. It was also revealed that another 208 new infections have been diagnosed in the Province over the last 24 hours.
