Anderson University opens cybersecurity center

Anderson University is launching the Center for Cybersecurity in fall of 2020. The university will offer a traditional degree in cybersecurity along with interdisciplinary majors in cybersecurity and criminal justice, cybersecurity and mathematics, and cybersecurity and analytics.

Milliken commits to responsible business practices

Milliken & Co. announced Monday that the company has joined the United Nations Global Compact, a voluntary leadership platform for the development, implementation and disclosure of responsible business practices, according to a news release.

Habitat home built by multi-faith volunteers

Leaders from Habitat for Humanity and local Muslim, Jewish and Christian congregations on Wednesday will gather to dedicate a home they built together for a local family in need. Construction on the project began last summer, according to a news release. In addition to formally welcoming the Patterson family of Greenville to their new home, each faith group will also present them with gifts and offer a blessing. The ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday 20 Ferdlee Reid Dr. in Greenville.
