Good afternoon,

As forecast commodity export earnings are slashed by $100bn, miners have called for support against ‘existential’ threats.

Neoen, one of Australia’s largest renewable energy developers, has raised $1,4bn to fund three new zero emission projects as the soon-to-be owned Brookfield company moves to accelerate development of some 10GW of new projects.

Qantas and its budget carrier Jetstar will add an additional 300,000 seats across more than 1300 extra flights in the first half of 2025 in a move that will put pressure on rival Virgin Australia.
