Mini MADE starts TODAY!

Small but mighty, our new monthly makers market Mini MADE is open from 11am-4pm today, Saturday 6th April.

Come and visit us at Brighton's home of contemporary art and craft, and meet more than a dozen makers in person.

Design by Julie Ingham, EJ's Handy Pots, Essemgé jewellery, Flora is Wild, Helen Rankin, Imaginarium Atelier, Kostadinos Jewellery, Nina Garstang, Penny Warren, Sam's People Prints, Tom Watson, Toby Painted This, Twisting Metal, and Solace in Wood will be with us today.

The show is set against the backdrop of our gallery, alongside our stable of brilliant resident makers, so there are more than 100 creatives to discover. See you on the beach!

Fishy business

What is it about fish and risographs that go so well together?

There are a surprising number of fishy-themed prints in our Riso Show. From Japanese-y lion fish, to neon sardines, to puffed-up puffers, we've got a whale of a show on our hands. Come and dive in!

The Riso Show is open everyday from 11am-5pm until the 19th of May, and, with prints starting from £10, there's an artwork for everyone.

We are so looking forward to hosting Adriana Torres this June on her world tour of workshops.

Come and join this master maker and learn how she has given ancient embroidery techniques a contemporary twist.

Adriana is teaching two courses with us - Needlelace with Knots and Play and Mend - and will be sharing the secrets to 3D sewing techniques to build illustrative textiles, and to make clever, beautiful mends.
