Good morning.

Amid Minnesota’s worsening coronavirus outbreak, the state Legislature met briefly Thursday for a special session where lawmakers largely avoided what’s become a routine but symbolic debate on whether to strip Gov. Tim Walz of his emergency authority to unilaterally manage the pandemic response. (MPR News)

The Minnesota Senate was considering a whole lot of “ifs” on Thursday. What if President-elect Joe Biden offered U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar a job in his administration? What if she took it? Then what if Gov. Tim Walz appointed Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan to Klobuchar’s seat? (Star Tribune)

Heads! The election came down to a coin toss in Grey Cloud Island Township.

Stay safe, wash your hands and have a good weekend.
