Under the agreement, the county will pay $2.55 million to Deyonta Green, who was denied his prescribed medication for opioid withdrawal, according to the lawsuit. 📃 Some Venezuelans in Minnesota face uncertainty amid end of 'Temporary Protected Status.' Venezuelans under TPS who received the protections in 2023 will lose their temporary status in April. Protesters marched to the Capitol from St. Paul College, carrying signs denouncing policies on immigration, LGBTQ+ rights and federal agencies. 🏳️⚧️ State lawmaker behind 'trans refuge' law blasts Trump order on trans athletes in school. Rep. Leigh Finke, DFL-St. Paul, says the order is saying that transgender people should not be allowed to be active members of society. 💧 Lino Lakes Correctional Facility gives inmates bottled water after tap water turned brown. This isn't the first time Lino Lakes Correctional Facility has had water problems. In September 2023, the facility also provided bottled water after lead was found in three drinking faucets. |
