Friday continues our cold streak. Your warmest coat and gloves will be appropriate when you head out the door Saturday morning. But Sunday is looking like more of a sweatshirt and sunglasses kind of day! (If you're used to Minnesota spring anyway.)

Sunday highs will range from the 40s in southern Minnesota to 20s in far northern Minnesota.

Minnesota public defenders reject state contract offer, OK strike
Around 470 public defenders and 200 support staff across Minnesota have rejected the state's latest contract offer and authorized a strike. Ten days of mediation must take place before employees could walk off the job.
 
Talks set to resume as Minneapolis teachers' strike extends into third day
Mediation was set to resume Thursday morning as the strike by Minneapolis Public Schools teachers and support staff extends into a third day. Additional sessions between the district and its teachers or support staff, or both, are planned for Friday and Saturday.
