Nov. 1, 2019 It's Novem-brrr! Chilly weekend ahead: After some off-and-on snow showers in parts of Minnesota today, lower-than-average temperatures will chill much of the state this weekend. Saturday highs will be mainly in the 30s, with lower 40s southwest. Sunday highs will be in the 40s in southern Minnesota and 30s north. After a long legal dispute, the Children's Theatre Company settled with 16 former students who were abused by former employees in the 1970s and ‘80s. Survivors said on Friday that they would try to work with the theater to restore trust and ensure such abuse never happens again. One key survivor said she was ending her boycott of CTC. ICYMI: A nonprofit uses drones to help save forests along the North Shore: The Nature Conservancy manages more than 60,000 acres of land in Minnesota, and surveying that much land, all on foot, is a chore.
