Just 40 percent of kids 5 to 11 are fully vaccinated against COVID-19
| Sept. 6, 2022 Across the state young Minnesotans returned to the classroom for the first day of school on Tuesday. Things are a bit different across the state this school year compared to the last. COVID mandates are lifting in schools, but not all kids are vaccinated. According to state data, only two percent of children six months to 4 years old have completed the COVID vaccine series, while 12 percent have one shot.
