☀️ We’ll have another day of cool sunshine Tuesday. Highs will be mostly in the 40s across the state, though a few lucky places in west-central Minnesota will see low 50s.

🎖️ Walz commends veterans and says it’s time for the country to unite. Gov. Tim Walz is pledging to turn the page after the vice-presidential candidate lost in last week’s election. At a Veterans Day event in Arden Hills, Walz backed off his criticism of Trump and struck a conciliatory tone.
🗳️ Sherburne County will pay for recount of election results in close races. A damaged or uncleared memory card did not fully collect and transmit results from some mail-in ballots to the Minnesota Secretary of State’s office on election night. That led to the state website displaying inaccurate unofficial results.
🏒 Darwitz and Wendell-Pohl enshrined as part of Hockey Hall of Fame’s 2024 class. The two were teammates at the University of Minnesota. It’s the first Hall of Fame class to include two women players since 2010 and the first ever to include two American women. 🏀 Minnesota Lynx GM, associate head coach leave the WNBA team. General Manager Clare Duwelius is headed to Unrivaled, the new women’s three-on-three basketball league. And associate head coach Katie Smith is headed to Ohio State, where she’ll be the assistant coach for the women’s basketball team.

🎧 New organization aims to help unhoused Hmong in Minneapolis and St. Paul. Two encampments that have become a home base for unhoused Hmong and Karen people in St. Paul. A new organization is visiting encampments every Tuesday with food and supplies while trying to connect residents with services.
