A few years ago there was a huge buzz about going off-grid using solar panels.
While this is possible, it turned out not to be the best choice for houses consuming more than 3000 W of electricity because of the lack of space to mount the panels on.
This have been solved with the new type of solar panels called 3D Solar panels.
