Stretching across three continents and cultures (Thailand, Sweden and America), Sirintip’s remarkable debut album Tribus — produced by three-time Grammy winner Michael League of Snarky Puppy — is a gathering of different moments from the last four years of the singer/composer’s life. It’s an exciting, eclectic work that touches on pop, R&B, electronic and jazz, while creating a sound uniquely its own.
The show kicks off with a supporting set from Horace Bray, a NYC based singer-songwriter and instrumentalist. Coming from a background in jazz and improvised music, Horace has become a staple in the New York music scene, playing regularly with artists like John Splithoff, Michael Blume and Sirintip.

With his formidable trio colleagues Linda May Han Oh (acoustic/electric bass) and Henry Cole (drums), and string quartet on just one track, Fabian Almazan unveils music of both extraordinary complexity and transparent beauty. He employs electronics, his own field recordings from Cuba, and other devices to create an epic portrait of nature and folkloric expression, wrought by one of the most advanced jazz sensibilities in the world today.
Since 2007 Fabian has been the pianist for the Terence Blanchard’s various bands, including the E-Collective which was nominated for a GRAMMY in 2016. Mr. Almazan has toured North and South America, Asia, Africa, Australia and Europe extensively and has had the opportunity to perform with such artists as Linda May Han Oh, Gretchen Parlato, John Hollenbeck, Johnathan Blake, Justin Brown, Mark Guiliana, Dave Douglass, Chris Dingman, David Sanchez and Ambrose Akinmusire among others.
