In Quillan, Bauke Mollema offered Trek-Segafredo its first stage win on the Tour de France since John Degenkolb in 2018, on the Roubaix cobbled stage. Among all of the 23 teams registered in the Tour de France 2021, except for those which never won a stage on the race, only 3 displayed a longer dearth period: Cofidis (2008), Qhubeka-Nexthash (2017) and TotalEnergies (2017).
