Bosch to lay off 430 workers in Dorchester County

Bosch plans to reduce its workforce by about 23% over the next year, impacting 340 permanent and 90 temporary jobs. The layoffs are expected to be implemented in phases, beginning midyear and continuing through 2021, according to a statement from the company.

Greenville turbine company launches project in Kansas

BarberWind Turbines LLC, a wind technology company based in Greenville, has selected Concordia, Kan., as the demonstration site for its second-generation midsize wind turbine. The project will be located near the production facility, facilitating communication between site engineers and factory personnel.
