| Residential real estate volume down 10% in April; prices up Residential real estate sales volume in the Lowcountry were down approximately 10% year over year last month, according to preliminary data released by the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors. Last month, 1,441 homes were sold, at a median price of $290,000; year to date, 5,593 homes have been sold, at a median price of $289,900. Cooper River Bridge Run canceled because of COVID-19 The bridge run, originally scheduled for April 4 and later rescheduled for Aug. 1, has been canceled because of concerns over COVID-19.
