Roper creating center of excellence in Charleston

The move by Roper St. Francis Healthcare will consolidate obstetrics to two hospitals. Construction on the center at Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital is expected to begin in the next 60 days, the health care system said.

Starbucks to close 400 stores, expand pickup

Commerce hosts trade mission to Kenya, Tanzania

The S.C. Commerce Department will host a trade mission to Kenya and Tanzania from Sept. 19-20, open to companies across the state. Attendees will meet face to face with prospective distributors, agents and partners based on their business sector and company goals.
