Environmental groups to sue over plastic pellet pollution

The Southern Environmental Law Center, the legal arm of the Coastal Conservation League and Charleston Waterkeeper, has sent a notice to Frontier Logistics that all three entities intend to sue the company after plastic pellets were found washed ashore on several area beaches. The notice is a legal requirement before the filing of a Clean Water Act enforcement case.

Wells Fargo donates $500,000 to Emanuel Nine Memorial

Wells Fargo is the first corporation to support the construction of the Emanuel Nine Memorial. The company recently granted $500,000 to the Mother Emanuel Memorial Foundation Board.
