Team up The Port of Long Beach has agreed to a partnership with the State Lands Commission and the Port of Humboldt to advance an ambitious off-shore wind proposal. The port here has been pursuing a 400-acre terminal that would assemble and deploy floating offshore wind turbines and those involved say this collaboration should help make it a reality. The agreement will help give “the industry and California ports the confidence to invest in Long Beach’s Pier Wind and other complementary projects and create thousands of good-paying jobs,” Port of Long Beach CEO Mario Cordero said.
