More layoffs at KADN

BY ADAM DAIGLE | Acadiana business editor

KADN had another round of layoffs on Tuesday, its second in about three months. It's a disappointing blow for a station that has become a bigger player in the evolving local media market.

KPEL broke the story about the layoffs, which includes longtime anchor and reporter Taylor Trache, and four others.

Allen Media Group, which bought the station in 2019, is carrying lots of debt after a round of expansions about six years ago. KADN is not the only Allen property to let go of its employees.

You can read my story here.

Have a great day and thanks for reading.
