Looking for answers: The first of three City Council hearings to shed light on what could have been done to better protect New Orleans from an attack like the one New Year's Day was held Wednesday. Emotions were high as several city leaders were absent, and the ones that did show up — notably the police chief — failed to provide attendees with satisfactory answers.
