So stormy: Ready for Round 2? The weather folks tell us to expect another volley of storms today. The northshore and River Parishes were slammed Wednesday. Officials are keeping a close on rising rivers in St. Tammany. Boil it if you got it: It’ll be another day of boiling water for folks on the east bank of Jefferson Parish. Officials say perhaps by this afternoon the boil order will be lifted. Ugh! Tasty (but hidden) gems: We’ve got a cool feature for restaurant fans (and who isn’t!). Ian McNulty and Chelsea Shannon, our dining out gurus, launched a video series this week looking at hidden gems across the metro. Bon appétit! (Court) Clash of the titans: There is a huge basketball game in Baton Rouge tonight. No. 9 LSU takes on No. 1 South Carolina, and ticket prices have gone through the roof. Should LSU pull off the upset, coach Kim Mulkey has urged fans to NOT storm the court. “You’re the defending national champions. Act like you’ve been there.” Capitol Carnival: Movers and shakers are descending on Washington, D.C., for the annual Mardi Gras celebration there. Our Chris Granger bopped around to some of the events Wednesday (including one that included a certain former Saints quarterback) and has these pictures. Thanks for reading Lunch Line.
