Premier Brazilian trade and investment event in the Netherlands

The opening day of Europort 2023 will also host the Brazil Network Day. Which is widely recognised as the premier Brazilian trade and investment event of the Netherlands. The event is initiated and organised by the Embassy of Brazil in cooperation with Dutch stakeholders.

Since 2011 the event has been providing opportunities for Brazilian and local entrepreneurs, maritime and port industry stakeholders. Aiming to promote business and investments and improve reciprocal knowledge exchange. This year’s topic will be: Energy Transition in the context of Ports and Offshore Development Projects.

Grand Maritime Election Debate

The maritime industry associations KNVR, IRO, NMT, Vereniging van Waterbouwers are organising the Grand Maritime Election Debate during Europort on Tuesday 7 November from 16:00. The Lower House elections will take place on 22 November and the election manifestos are full of maritime concerns. At the same time, there is a lack of urgency to really follow through.

Prominent candidate MPs will therefore discuss the importance of the maritime sector for the Netherlands on 7 November, led by Twan Huys. Registration for the Great Maritime Election Debate is possible until 27 October at the latest at.

Experience the future of the maritime industry

On November 8 you have the opportunity to learn more about Rotterdam and its innovative maritime frontrunners. During a guided tour you will gain insight into the regional maritime industry. As well as how the ecosystem facilitates training, test facilities and field labs.

After a guided boat tour through the port of Rotterdam (breakfast included) the Rotterdam Innovation Tour will take you to the RDM Campus, Rotterdam’s maritime innovation hotspot, where you can experience the future of the maritime industry. The tour includes transportation to Rotterdam Ahoy.

Europort 2023 is a supporter of Mercy Ships. This international charity operates the largest non-governmental hospital ships in the world. They are committed to helping people that don’t have access to personalised state-of-the-art medical care.

Therefore it is great to see that the organisers of the Europort BUSINESSrun and the Europort Innovation Tour will donate all participation fees to Mercy Ships. Helping the charity to provide free surgical care and medical support to developing nations. So put on your running shoes and help support Mercy Ships!
