On Tuesday, we reached out about the tragic terror attack that took the lives of two Israeli reserve soldiers. Today, we have learned of yet another heartbreaking loss—two more soldiers, only 20 and 21 years old, were killed in the northern Gaza Strip. The IDF has announced that Sergeant-Major Nadav Cohen (21) from Beit Hanan and Staff-Sergeant Nachman Refael Ben Ami (20) from Eilat, both from the 51st Battalion in the Golani Brigade, lost their lives in a devastating incident near the Israeli border. According to reports, bad weather conditions caused a crane to collapse in the area where the soldiers were operating, leading to multiple casualties. One soldier was seriously wounded, and several others sustained injuries of varying severity. This brings the total number of soldiers killed since October 7 to 844—a staggering and painful toll on Israel’s brave defenders. Once again, this tragedy reminds us of the difficult situation that is still taking place in Israel. Whether in the aftermath of terror attacks or military losses, ZAKA Tel-Aviv remains ready to assist, ensuring every fallen soldier is treated with the dignity and honor they deserve. |
