Money over everything, money on my mind

Funding, funding, funding. "How do I get funding?" has to be the number one question for nonprofits, for-profits and everything in between.

American Rescue Plan Act dollars have been a major funder for small businesses and nonprofits alike in the wake of the pandemic's peak. The City of Baltimore's recent announcement of six- and seven-figure grants for a few local nonprofits (see my article below) reminded me of a common question and complaint I've heard in my two years of reporting in Baltimore:

How do you get funding in this city?

That's my main question to all of you in Technical.ly's community of entrepreneurs. Where do you go when you're looking to fund your latest venture or startup in Baltimore? Preseed, Series A and beyond — where in the city do you go when you need funding or outside investment?

Let us know by replying to this email or sending a note to , anytime.
