Salons and barbershops reopen across Michigan

We talked to barbers and stylists yesterday as they returned to work for the first time since March. It was a busy day for salons and barbershops as customers rushed to remedy their neglected locks. "The floodgates have opened," said Zac Minock, the owner of Flint's Consolidated Barbershop. In addition to hair-related services, tattoo, piercing, nail and spa services are now allowed to resume across the state, with certain safety measures in place. MORE

Census data shows Michigan's fastest growing communities

The latest data from the U.S. Census Bureau gives plenty of information on Michigan's population. One thing the data reveals is which areas of Michigan are growing (and which are shrinking). A looming legal battle between the league and players could mean there are zero games this year, Manford told ESPN Monday. Boat parade to Detroit marks President Trump's 74th birthday

Over the weekend, a group of boat owners marked President Donald Trump's birthday by partaking in a boat parade. The vessels started their journey in Macomb County's Harrison Township and made their way to downtown Detroit. Hundreds of boats participated, with many blasting patriotic music and waving flags.
