 After a second extensive investigation into the Flint water crisis, Attorney General Dana Nessel with Solicitor General Fadwa Hammoud and Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy on Thursday announced criminal charges against former Gov. Rick Snyder and eight other former officials in state and city government. “This case has nothing whatsoever to do with partisanship,” Worthy said. “This case is about justice, truth, accountability, poisoned children, lost lives and shattered families that are still not whole, and simply giving a damn about all of humanity.” READ MORE  Many people are asking when they will be able to secure a COVID-19 vaccine. Unless you are in a higher priority group, you will likely be waiting until the second half of 2020. As of now, the preliminary timeline has “all remaining essential workers” looking at late June to begin vaccination, followed by the general population (age 16 and older) in August. The timeline’s dates are “estimated and expected to change based on vaccine availability,” according to the MDHHS.  The Detroit Lions interviewed 12 men with varying backgrounds and specialities for their vacant general manager position. That’s quadruple the number of candidates they spoke with before hiring Bob Quinn back in 2016. But they flew just one of them to Allen Park for a second interview. And a day later, the Lions officially announced Brad Holmes as their new general manager. “On behalf of the entire Lions organization, I am thrilled to welcome Brad Holmes to Detroit,” said Sheila Ford Hamp.
