Coronavirus testing

As Michigan expands coronavirus testing, issues with test accuracy remain

While an increasing number of Michiganders are eligible to receive a COVID-19 test, it doesn't mean they will get an accurate result. According to experts, the tests fail about 30 percent of the time. That means there could be many people who are getting a negative result when they actually do have the virus. Testing is currently ramping up throughout the state in an effort to get a more complete view of the impact COVID-19 is having in Michigan. How will that view be impacted by the 30-percent failure rate?  MORE

Lions snag a cornerback from Ohio State with 3rd overall pick
hat
When the Lions traded away Darius Slay this offseason, it definitely left a hole at cornerback. They made their move right away to fill that hole by selecting Jeff Okudah with the 3rd overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft. Okudah was a stud at Ohio State, but still, he's just the second cornerback taken this high in modern draft history. Leave it to the Lions to do things that have never been done. He only started one year in college football. MORE
