'Unholy disaster:' severe thunderstorm pounds Grand Rapids
 
The severe storms that rolled across Michigan on Wednesday night left plenty of damage in their wake. The worst areas effected were in and around the Grand Rapids area. In particular, strong winds dealt massive damage to a neighborhood just north of downtown GR. MLive photographers ventured out Wednesday night amidst the wailing blare of tornado sirens to capture footage. They were back at it Thursday morning documenting the mayhem. MORE
