Defense attorneys say drivers should refuse Michigan's new roadside drug tests
 
If one of Michael Komorn's clients asked him for legal advise regarding Michigan's new roadside drug tests, the Farmington Hills attorney would tell them to say "no" to the saliva swab. Komorn isn't alone, either. Other legal experts agree that the civil infraction that comes from refusing the swab is better than submitting to a test they call unreliable. Police started a second pilot program for the roadside tests, using them statewide as of October. The program hopes to determine the usefulness of the swab tests.
