Lake Michigan beaches shrink amid rising water levels
 
South Haven is a serious beach town. Michiganders flock to the Southwest Michigan city all summer long to pack the sand with towels and spend time in the waves of Lake Michigan. This year, there will be less beach space for visitors to occupy. High water levels have led to shoreline erosion along the Great Lakes.
